Healthy Diet

A healthy diet can be defined in so many different ways. Over the past few years levels of obesity have increased dramatically causing concerned comments from doctors and other health related specialists. The increased stresses of daily life, fast food diets and binge drinking in modern day society, all mean that healthy diets are on the decrease.

This increase in obesity has been highlighted by various government bodies as well as those in the public eye. Gilliam McKeith, Paul McKenna and Jamie Oliver are all people trying to make a difference and make people aware of the risks of poor eating and lack of exercise.

This great emphasis on healthy eating in recent years has seen a great increase in available diets – the choice for which is often very confusing. Weight loss diets vary considerably some being highly maintainable over the short and long term whilst others can be boring and difficult to maintain.

It is with this in mind that the diet debate website has been created. Unlike many health and diet related websites, Diet Debate does not target or have an affiliation with any specific diet. The site contains a selection of unbiased diet reviews (as well as a highly unique diet voting poll system), which include the pros and cons of each specific diet system – hence allowing visitors to make a truly informed decision of which diet to try!

Essentially there are many thousands of people worldwide who want to lose weight, so being able to make an informed decision on which diet to try is a great step towards losing those unwanted pounds.
