Advair

Advair a composition of steroid and bronchodilator.It contains salmeterol and fluticasone. It is taken twice a day by adults and kids over 12 years of age who are suffering from asthma. Asthma attacks are caused by airway hyper responsiveness—that is, an overreaction of the bronchi and bronchioles to various environmental and physiological stimuli, known as triggers.

Causes of asthma: -

1.) Asthma is generally caused by the attack of tiny and light particles that entered into the lungs through air.
2.) These minute particles are called environmental triggers. So they lead to an inflammatory response which causes asthma.

Advair delays the discharge of substances which results in inflammation. It works by relaxing muscles in the airways to enhance breathing.

Advair is also used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) associated with chronic bronchitis. It should not be used to treat a sudden symptom of shortness of breath because it does not work immediately.

Advair is used to improve the functions of the lungs, as well as impediment of asthma attacks. However, it is vital to know that it is not a rapid-acting inhaler - instead, it is a maintenance treatment, used to manage your overall symptoms in due course.

Advair is a common inhaler prescribed for those with asthma and related breathing evils. Before you choose to take this medicine, you should be aware of the possible dangers. Do not use the medication in larger quantities, or use it for longer than recommended by your doctor. Follow the instructions on your prescription label. Overdose symptoms may include angina or chest pain, nausea, fast or irregular heartbeats, seizures, tremor, weakness, headache and vomiting.
